Director of Supply Chain and Procurement

We have an immediate opportunity for a Director of Supply Chain and Procurement in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience with strong knowledge of logistics, purchasing, material management and sales operations.
The Director of Supply Chain and Procurement is responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services. This position will lead and develop a procurement and purchasing team. This team will have tactical responsibility for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support the company's acquisition and materials management of goods and services - for both resale, customer integration and internal use.
Create, develop and lead the development of companywide procurement and materials management processes for the Integration Center and direct drop shipment customer procurements.
Define the requirements for a new ERP application as it relates to the procurement and materials management of goods and services in a new material resource planning module.
Contribute to profitability by utilizing analytic, forecasting and negotiation skills to procure goods, materials and services on favorable terms and with appropriate lead times.
Work with the company's integration center operations to manage inventories and to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches and customer requirements.
Define, leverage and organize spending throughout the Enterprise to take advantage of purchasing strategies, inventory management and shipment costs.
Continually seek ways to streamline and decrease costs and increase quality of purchasing services.
Drive standardization of processes and procedures, transaction methods with suppliers, supplier selection processes / ongoing supplier management, data collection, negotiation, performance improvement, cost reduction and communication strategies.
Responsible to execute all company purchase order placements within the rules defined internally along with the specific guidelines of each supplier that accurately reflect price, schedule, terms, and conditions of sale.
Foster close working and collaborative relationships with inside sales and sales understanding their limits and requirements to deliver an efficient PO placement process.
Development of appropriate procurement metrics for the facilitation of process improvement, streamlining of costs, and to increase the quality of the procurement, logistics and materials management functions.
Perform various administrative supervisory functions including monitoring and evaluating worker performance, establishing work priorities and coordinating schedules.
Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
Supervisory Duties:
Lead the purchasing team in providing day to day procurement support for the entire sales organization
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
At least 10 years of relevant experience that includes operating in a manufacturing/assembly environment
Proven success utilizing materials resource planning modules in a large ERP environment
Proven leadership and management experience
Technical knowledge of logistics, purchasing, materials management, and sales operations
Able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
Ability to focus under pressure
Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail
Resourceful and action-oriented with the ability to overcome obstacles
Strong organizational and time management skills
Legally eligible to work in the United States

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
